Each booking offers exclusive use of the castle, gardens and grounds with accommodation in 8 luxurious bedrooms (3 of which are twin bedrooms) which are serviced twice per day. Meals prepared by our on-site chef and elegantly served in the dining room by our staff, as well as beverages (including alcohol). Food preferences and dietary requirements can be catered for, however we must be informed in advance. Selected outdoor activities are included in the tariffs.

Estate activities included in tariffs and organized by our staff are:

• Rainbow and brown trout fishing on the top lochs including fly fishing tuition
• Salmon and trout fishing on estate-owned stretch of the River Tay
• Air Rifle Shooting
• Walking
• Game-viewing
• Croquet, bowling and putting on the lawns
• Clay Pigeon Shooting
• Strathtay Golf Club

There is also free broadband wi-fi throughout the house and guests have access to office services such as printer, fax and photocopier if required.

The Estate offers fantastic deer-stalking opportunities as well as pheasant and partridge shooting and duck-flighting at an additional cost. We require to be notified in advance if guests wish to partake in these activities. All stalking is accompanied by our Head Stalker.   Outstanding stalking activities can also be provided on our 14’000 acre sister estate, Glenlochay.

Deer stalking is costed at £400 per stag (inclusive of VAT) with 12 points and over costed at £20 per point extra - ie 14 point stag would be costed at £680. We do have exceptional stags (excess of 20 points) but these are subject to special quotes. Stag season in Scotland starts on the 1st July 2008 and ends on 20th October 2008.

Bird shoot tariffs vary and can be given on request.

Other activities which can be arranged at additional cost include:

• Transport to and from Edinburgh or Glasgow airports
• Chauffeur service
• Visits to Blair Castle or Scone Palace or other sites of interest
• Visits to Gleneagles and other golf courses

Minimum stay is for one night, with a minimum price of £3,500 and we require a security deposit of 10% to confirm the booking.   All prices exclude VAT.

Milton Cottage

Our self catering cottage is let separately from the castle at £500 per week. The cottage can accommodate 4 people in two bedrooms*.


*Please enquire for additional quotes if Milton Cottage is to be rented with the Castle and if you would like the occupants of Milton to benefit from the castle’s services (food, beverage, estate activities, etc...).
